Officials stopped play midway through the fourth quarter of the TCU-Baylor game Saturday as Horned Frog defensive end Tipa Galeai was placed onto a stretcher on the TCU sideline.
Galeai left the field under his own power, but was attached to the stretcher a few plays later. TCU players formed a circle around him as the medical staff attended to him.
He was moving his extremities before being strapped down, and gave a thumbs up to the crowd as he was carted off the field. Horned Frog head coach Gary Patterson leaned in to talk to him before Galeai went to the locker room.
