TCU defensive end Ben Banogu didn’t have to wait long to hear his named called on Friday.
The Indianapolis Colts drafted Banogu in the second round with the 49th overall pick, taking the two-time All-Big 12 defensive end to boost a pass rush that ranked 19th in the NFL last season.
Colts defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus, the former Dallas Cowboys linebackers coach, was among the more notable NFL coaches in attendance at TCU’s Pro Day last month.
