For the past twelve seasons, the college basketball world has celebrated the life of Maggie Dixon, brother of TCU Head Coach Jamie Dixon, a once-rising star in the coaching ranks whose life was cut tragically short at 28 due to a heart arrhythmia just weeks after leading the Army Golden Knights to their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance. Each season since 2006, at least one game annually has been designated as Maggie Dixon Classic, and this year, that game will be played on the home floor of Maggie’s brother’s program.
TCU Women’s Basketball will face off with Army on December 2nd in the 13th annual Classic, and Jamie Dixon will be able to be a part of the event.
