TCU learned its NCAA tournament fate on Sunday, and the Horned Frogs will be making their first NCAA Tournament appearance in two decades. The Frogs were given the No. 6 seed in the midwest region, where they'll meet either No. 11 seeded Syracuse in the round of 64. The Orange beat the Arizona Sun Devils 60-56 in one of the Wednesday play-in games for the chance to take on the Frogs.
The Frogs will open the tournament at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The game will tipoff at 8:45 p.m. Friday on CBS.
TCU coach Jamie Dixon has a favorable history against Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim.
