TCU running back Kyle Hicks arrested for public intoxication

Kyle Hicks was arrested for public intoxication early Saturday morning.

The Fort-Worth Star-Telegram reports that the TCU running back and two former football players were arrested on misdemeanor public intoxication charges.

Hicks, Bryson Henderson and George Baltimore were taken into custody after police were dispatched to the Whataburger on West Berry Street around 2:40 a.m., according to the Star-Telegram.

Hicks totaled 14 touchdowns this season and was TCU’s leading rusher and receiver. He generated 1,042 rushing yards and 417 receiving yards on 47 receptions. He is the first TCU player since Basil Mitchell (1996) to lead TCU in both rushing and receiving.
