TCU running back Sewo Olonilua was arrested on Tuesday for “posession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance,” according to a police blotter report from the Huntsville Police Department. The substance weighed between one and four grams, according to the report.
TCU released a comment Wednesday night that simply said, “We are aware of the matter and looking into it.”
Olonilua recently earned his degree from TCU, and was entering his final season with the Horned Frogs. He led the team in rushing yards in 2018, racking up 635 yards and two touchdowns, including 194 rushing yards and a touchdown in the Cheez It Bowl, where he was named bowl MVP.
