"It was good to get a win tonight. There is nothing worse than going into an off week with a loss -- nothing."
On the Big 12 Conference race:
"We only have to be one of the top two teams to play in the championship game, so we have to take it one game at a time. As I have watched things unfold, and I haven't had a chance to watch everyone play, you could have the first-place team with one or two losses and the second-place team could have three.
