TCU is apparently losing another quarterback from it’s roster, as Jeremy Clark of 247 Sports is reporting on Monday that backup quarterback Mike Collins has entered the transfer portal.
He’s set to graduate in December, so he’ll be able to go somewhere as a graduate transfer. Collins follows Justin Rogers out the door this season, and hot on the heels of 2018 transfer Shawn Robinson.
Collins originally transferred into TCU from Penn after the 2016 season, sitting out in 2017 due to transfer rules. In 2018 he appeared in nine games, most notably coming in for Shawn Robinson in the second quarter against Oklahoma, and immediately sparking TCU’s offense by throwing two touchdowns.
