When Council Bluffs (Iowa) Central quarterback Max Duggan committed to TCU back in April, he was aware of the level of competition that awaits him in Fort Worth.
Former local standout Shawn Robinson (DeSoto, Denton Guyer) is expected to be the front-runner for the starting job as a sophomore. Justin Rogers, one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the national 2018 class, recently arrived on campus.
But the viable options isn't a deterrent for Duggan to sign with the Horned Frogs. Instead, the 4-star prospect from Iowa cherishes the competition.
"When you go into a quarterback room and you have competition, you're going to make every guy better around you," Duggan said Saturday inside The Ford Center at The Star in Frisco.
