Some bad news came out of the TCU Basketball camp on Saturday, but Jamie Dixon and staff may have dodged a bullet.
According to multiple reports, sophomore point guard Jaylen Fisher suffered a torn meniscus in practice this week and will require surgery.
CBS Sports' college basketball columnist Gary Parrish was the first to report.
TCU’s Jaylen Fisher has suffered a torn meniscus in his left knee. Surgery next week. So he will not accompany TCU on its trip to Australia.

Fisher's surgery is scheduled for next week, meaning he will sit out the Horned Frogs' upcoming five-game Australian tour.
