Dingers from Watson, Henry, Oviedo, and Wolfe spurred the Frogs on, but a five-run eighth gave them the lead for good. Then Marcelo Perez came on and did what he does to close things out.
TCU pulled away in the eighth when it sent 10 men to the plate. The Frogs scored five times to take a 12-8 lead. Oviedo started the rally with an infield single, and Andrew Keefer and Wolfe delivered RBI hits.
