Uhh... ok. Slow news day in Waco, maybe?
“I don’t (have a name for it),” Wendzel said, chuckling. “I just rock it the way it is. I just like it.”
On Tuesday night, the Baylor third baseman from San Clemente, Calif. – who sometimes resembles Thor with his golden, flowing locks – used his mighty hammer to club a game-winning home run in the bottom of the ninth in a 2-1 win over Stephen F. Austin. Could that dramatic finish, which snapped the Bears’ three-game skid in midweek contests, coupled with the team’s first Big 12 series win over Texas last weekend, mean that the momentum is building in the right direction for Baylor?
