The early-enrollee has done everything right so far this spring.
Speed at wide receiver can be lethal, and Barber has plenty of it. Having run a near-4.5 in the 40-yard dash, he can really turn on the jets and get after it. TCU could have explored using him on defense, but Barber’s ability to accelerate off the line forced the coaching staff’s hand. He’s a receiver, no doubt.
Barber caught a touchdown pass during TCU’s frigid spring game, so we know he can catch, too.
TCU is a pretty easy sell these days.
