TCU Heisman hopeful: Kenny Hill

TCU has not seen a Heisman Trophy winner since 1938 when Davey O’Brien led the Frogs to an undefeated season. TCU capped off its perfect season that year with a 15-7 Sugar Bowl win over Pittsburgh in front of a crowd larger than 50 thousand.

TCU thought it may be close to acquiring its second Heisman Trophy in 2015 when Trevone Boykin led the charge for the Frogs. During his two years, Boykin broke almost all of Andy Dalton’s major single-season and career records at TCU. He also became the third-winningest quarterback in school history. But, the Frogs’ hopes fell short as Boykin finished fourth and was not considered a finalist for the prestigious award.
