WACO -- TCU’s quarterback situation became even more complicated on Saturday, though the Horned Frogs still managed to scrape by in-state rival Baylor for a 16-9 win.
Sophomore quarterback Michael Collins exited the contest in the first half with an apparent lower-body injury and did not return as senior Grayson Muehlstein took his place. Head coach Gary Patterson said after the game he expects Collins to be doubtful heading into TCU’s regular-season finale next Saturday at home vs. Oklahoma State.
Collins has started each of the past four games for TCU after sophomore and primary starter Shawn Robinson was shut down for the season after undergoing surgery.
