FORT WORTH -- What began with football last fall has seemingly entered its way into the TCU basketball locker room, as the Horned Frogs have been dealt another season ending injury.
TCU basketball announced following Saturday's 71-62 loss to Oklahoma that redshirt freshman Lat Mayen would miss the remainder of the season due to knee issues stemming from a 2017 meniscus tear. Mayen missed the contest vs. the Sooners prior to the announcement, amid what head coach Jamie Dixon described as "serious issues" with Mayen's knee on Thursday.
The 6-8 forward from Australia had played in all but one of TCU's Big 12 contests this season entering Saturday, with the lone absence coming at Kansas back on Jan.
