In a Zoom town hall Thursday night, TCU Athletic Director Jeremiah Donati revealed two significant items regarding the upcoming football season.
For one, the Frogs are preparing to play their first game on September 12th against a to-be-named opponent. And that they will only be playing in front of a 25% full Amon G Carter Stadium when they do so.
Though Texas governor Greg Abbott has declared that outdoor athletic events are able to open their gates at 50% capacity, Donati said that TCU will limit it to 25% to allow for social distancing. The stadium, which underwent the second remodel of the decade over the last several years, can hold up to 50,000 people normally.
