The Horned Frogs will play seven games at home this fall, including four straight to open this season, they announced Thursday.
The 2021 football season will commence with a never-before-played opponent, as FCS opponent Duquesne travels to Fort Worth from Pittsburgh for a September 4th kick-off. The Dukes did not play in 2020, but will play as members of the Northeastern Conference this spring.
Following the opener, the Frogs welcome Cal to town on September 11th, the home half of their home and home series — though last season’s scheduled contest in Berkeley was cancelled due to the pandemic eliminating many nonconference games.
