TCU fires coach Trent Johnson after 4 seasons

The school went from the SEC to the Big 12 in Johnson's first season with the Horned Frogs.

Johnson was the head coach at three different stops before TCU. He went to one NCAA tournament and one NIT in four seasons at LSU, going 67-62 (25-39 in the SEC). Johnson was his most successful at Stanford, making three NCAA tournament appearances in his four seasons in Palo Alto. He also coached at Nevada for five seasons, making the Sweet 16 in 2004.

Johnson spent time as an assistant coach at Stanford, Rice, Washington and Utah.
