FORT WORTH -- It was a movie TCU fans had seen before, at least in part, Saturday afternoon at Schollmaier Arena.
There was both the strong start and finish to the first half. There was an all-too-familiar scene in the second where the Horned Frogs seemingly couldn’t hit anything. And this time, there was also the frantic finish that led the Horned Frogs to their first ranked win on home court all season.
Boosted by the return of sophomore forward Kouat Noi from an ankle injury, TCU held on for a 75-72 win over No. 19 Iowa State, giving the Horned Frogs a desperately needed win that snapped a three-game skid and completed the season sweep of the Cyclones for the second straight year.
