TCU landed previous commitments from Xavier transfer Keonte Kennedy and ex-SLU signee Mickey Pearson at the start of last week. Kennedy, like Easley, will have to sit out the 2019-20 season. Pearson, meanwhile, will be immediately eligible to play.
Easley, a former ESPN 4-star and top 100 prospect in the Class of 2018, played in 29 games as a freshman at Tennessee-Chattanooga this past season, averaging 14.2 points and 6.7 rebounds per game en route to being named the Southern Conference freshman of the year.
Easley initially gave a verbal commitment to Virginia Commonwealth in January 2017, but decommitted that April after then-VCU head coach Will Wade left to take the head coaching job at LSU.
