TCU basketball landed its first transfer commitment on Sunday night.
Keonte Kennedy announced he’d committed to TCU, entering the transfer portal after spending just a few months at Xavier.
“I’m coming home!” Kennedy wrote on his Twitter page.
Kennedy, a 6-foot-5 guard from Austin, will have to sit out the 2019-20 season under NCAA transfer rules, and will be eligible for the 2020-21 season.
Kennedy played in 22 games for Xavier this season, averaging 2.0 points and 1.4 rebounds a game. He left the team on Feb.
