Jaylen Fisher is close to returning to the TCU men’s basketball team. He almost played against Fresno State on Thursday night, but opted to give his knee more rest.
“We’re close. It’s his call,” coach Jamie Dixon said after TCU’s 77-69 victory to improve to 3-0.
“The doctors have cleared him. He’s got to feel comfortable. The history is what he’s fighting through right now. I know he’s anxious and he’s ready, just didn’t feel as good today.”
The history Dixon is referring to is Fisher’s injuries. Fisher sustained a meniscus injury last January that ended his sophomore season, and underwent arthroscopic surgery on the same knee (right) in September.
