TCU Basketball’s favorite son isn’t going anywhere.
Wednesday, the Frogs announced that head coach Jamie Dixon received a contract extension, thus keeping him in Funky Town through (at least) 2024.
Dixon, who played basketball at TCU, led the Frogs to their first NCAA Tournament berth in his second season manning the program, earning a six seed in the Detroit region before falling to Syracuse in the first round. He developed pro prospects Vladimir Brodziansky and Kenrich Williams, as well as recruited future stars Desmond Bane and Jaylen Fisher. TCU has a highly rated recruiting class for the fall, and several highly-touted prospects looking to make an impact after spending this season redshirting.
