The TCU baseball team rallied from a deficit once again on Sunday.
The Frogs overcame a five-run deficit for a 12-8 victory over the Texas Longhorns, taking their Big 12 opening series 2-1.
Call it “Lupton Magic,” two days after overcoming a two-run ninth-inning deficit for a walk-off victory on Friday in the series opener. Texas (17-10, 3-3 Big 12) routed TCU in the middle game, but the finale ended in TCU’s favor.
The Frogs belted four home runs, stole multiple bases and entertained the 4,498 in attendance at Lupton Stadium.
