It will be a flashback to Friday Night Lights for TCU Football next season, as the Frogs’ game at SMU, orginally scheduled for Saturday, September 8th, has been moved to Friday, September 7th, according to FBS Schedules:
The game will be the home opener for SMU, and the home debut of new Mustangs’ coach Somny Dykes, who spent the 2017 season as an analyst under Gary Patterson at TCU. It was confirmed by the Ponies’ official twitter as well.
For TCU, it will be one of two weeknight games on the schedule in 2018, as they will host Texas Tech on Thursday, October 11th in addition to the matchup in Dallas.
