When it comes to college football rivalries, almost anything goes.
Even taking subtle shots at other schools during stadium renovations, in the case of TCU football.
As part of offseason renovations to Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, TCU is replacing the north end zone scoreboard with a new jumbotron that measures 108 feet, 4 inches wide and 48 feet, 6 inches high. And for anybody wondering, those dimensions are hardly random.
Per a report from Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the size of the new scoreboard was intentionally designed to edge out -- just barely -- the scoreboard at McLane Stadium in Waco, the home football stadium for in-state and Big 12 rival Baylor.
