Archie, a former 4-star prospect and ESPN Top 100 recruit in the Class of 2019, played in 10 games for TCU as a freshman before it was confirmed on Jan. 5 that he'd be transferring out of the program.
Archie will be eligible to play for the Miners during the second semester of the 2019-2020 school year, per NCAA mid-season transfer rules.
Archie had reportedly been unhappy with his playing time at TCU, leading to his decision to transfer. He had a season-high 22 minutes against Oral Roberts on Nov. 11, but saw less than 10 minutes of playing time in five the remaining eight games he appeared in for the Horned Frogs.
