Former TCU wide receiver Kolby Listenbee and the university have reportedly reached a settlement over 2018 lawsuits that stem from Listenbee's allegations of mistreatment during his time on the TCU football team.
According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the two parties settled out of court on April 22 in Tarrant County, though details of the settlement were not available.
Per the Star-Telegram, TCU, in a statement, said the university "is pleased the matter has been resolved, and both parties have agreed to dismiss their respective lawsuits."
Listenbee, who played at TCU from 2012-2015, filed a lawsuit in Dallas County against the university in January 2018, alleging that he and other former TCU players had faced "pressure to return to play despite serious injuries.
