ARLINGTON -- Ohio State began playing football in 1904. On Saturday night at AT&T Stadium, the Buckeyes gave up the longest play in school history.
TCU running back Darius Anderson turned a simple inside counter into a 93-yard scoring play in the second quarter. Anderson shot through a hole in the middle and outran the Buckeyes' secondary.
It was also the longest offensive play in TCU history. Heralded running back LaDainian Tomlinson had a pair of 89-yard runs in his career.
-- TCU held Ohio State to two field goals in six first-half possessions. The Buckeyes last did not produce an offensive touchdown in the first half during last season's loss to Oklahoma.
