That one was for Gary. After a tumultuous season saw legendary head coach Gary Patterson part ways with the university, TCU came out on Saturday and stunned No. 12 Baylor 30-28 behind a heroic performance from Chandler Morris.
Morris put up 531 total yards of offense for the Frogs, including 461 through the air, and three total touchdowns.
After the final knee, Morris launched the ball into the air as students rushed the field and TCU fans everywhere celebrated an emotional week.
Morris’ 461 yards passing is the most for a TCU freshman in the history of the program, and the first 400+ passing performance since Kenny Hill threw for 449 yards against Oklahoma in 2016.
