As expected, TCU quarterback Shawn Robinson will start at quarterback tonight against Texas Tech.
Robinson took the first-team reps during warmups prior to the game. Robinson’s status has been in question since he injured his left, non-throwing shoulder in TCU’s last game against Iowa State.
Backup Michael Collins worked with the second team.
TCU also will have left tackle Austin Myers back after he missed the Iowa State game. Starting left guard Cordel Iwuagwu remains sidelined as Chris Gaynor will start in his place. Wes Harris, the Aledo product, makes his second consecutive start at right guard.
