After a long absence, TCU Basketball returned to the top 25 Monday morning.
The Horned Frogs, who have won nine games in a row, including opening conference play with a 85-81 victory over Baylor, were ranked in the preseason, but fell out of the top 25 after dropping a game to Lipscomb in November. They haven’t lost since.
But, despite piling up victories, Jamie Dixon’s squad stayed outside of the national light. It’s something that has gone noticed by the players, and kept them playing with a chip on their shoulder. After defeating Indiana State, junior point guard Jaylen Fisher pointed it out, saying “they’re sleeping on us, but we will wake them up”, and Alex Robinson noted it before the conference opener, when he commented “a lot of people don’t have high expectations for us.
