TCU Baseball’s super star slugger left Tuesday night’s game against ACU in the seventh inning, limping off with the help of trainer Danny Wheat after sliding into second base.
In a 2-2 ball game, Baker led off the seventh inning with a single. After an AJ Balta single, Baker was thrown out at second on Michael Landestoy’s fielder’s choice. Baker slid in awkwardly as he attempted to avoid the tag, and laid there for several minutes after. Head Trainer Danny Wheat helped him leave the field, and the junior first baseman limped off very slowly.
