For a fourth consecutive year, Arlington Martin graduate Trinity King emerged victorious in the Fort Worth Junior Girls Championship.
King shot a 275 in the four-day tournament to win by 28 strokes. She set a course record at Squaw Creek Golf Club with a 62 in the second round and finished her defense off with a 2-over 72 at Colonial Country Club.
King, who won the Class 6A state title in the spring, and Jennie Park of Hebron, the runner-up in the 6A state tournament, qualified for the U.S. Women's Amateur Aug. 5-11 in West Point, Miss.
