The World Series winner and Austin resident has put a lot of stock in the 'underdog' Frogs in Omaha.
Kevin Millar played his college ball at Lamar University in Beaumont, and the experience of playing Texas ensured that this Austin resident is no fan of the Horns. When he needed a Texas team to root for, who did he turn to? None other than the TCU Horned Frogs.
Mr. Millar was kind enough to give us a few minutes on the phone this morning to fill us in on the AllState Good Hands in the Stands Program, a partnership between AllState, a company well-known by college sports fans across the country, and the Omaha Boys Town, a local organization that works with local kids to provide them opportunities they may otherwise not have.
