The Frogs knew they needed to get bigger in the defensive backfield, and with the signing of Trevon Moehrig-Woodard today, they did just that.
The 6’2” defensive back hails from Smithson Valley High School in Spring Branch, Texas, where he had seven career interceptions - returning two for scores - as well as starring in the return game (eight total touchdowns across two seasons).
His size is a huge advantage defensively, but it’s his speed that makes him such a versatile weapon overall. Once the ball is in his hands - as a returner, a running back, a receiver, or on a pick - he’s incredibly hard to catch and tougher to bring down.
