The three previous times that TCU has finished .500 or worse in the regular season, the Horned Frogs have responded with double-figure wins the next year. The upcoming season will test TCU’s history of resiliency after a late push gave TCU a 6-6 regular season followed by a win over Cal in in the Cheez-Its Bowl.
“We’re not good losers,” Patterson said after TCU’s second practice of the spring Sunday. “It’s a little bit tougher and a little bit more attention to detail.
