WACO -- Through injuries and all, TCU football (5-6, 3-5 Big 12) found a way to emerge victorious Saturday as the Horned Frogs scraped by for a gutsy 16-9 win over in-state rival Baylor (5-6, 3-5 Big 12) at McLane Stadium.
Sophomore wide receiver Jalen Reagor had perhaps the biggest game of TCU career, scoring both of the Horned Frogs’ touchdowns to extend his scoring streak to six straight games. The Waxahachie High School product pulled even with former TCU wide receiver Josh Doctson for the longest touchdown streak in school history.
And as the Horned Frogs left the banks of the Brazos with bowl game hopes still afloat, head coach Gary Patterson could only count his blessings after a winning effort that was easier said than done.
