The TCU women’s soccer team had its best season in program history, winning its first NCAA Tournament game. Unfortunately for the Lady Frogs, it didn’t extend past the opening round.
No. 8 Texas A&M scored two second-half goals and went on to a 2-0 victory over TCU in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday in Knoxville, Tennessee.
TCU finished its season 13-5-3, reaching the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive season.
“It wasn’t our day today,” coach Eric Bell said. “It wasn’t our best showing. Unfortunately we weren’t as sharp as I thought we were going to be.
