ARLINGTON -- Exiting Big 12 media days, it’s still far too early to be sure of who will win the crowded quarterback competition at TCU. But if Kansas State graduate transfer Alex Delton winds up being the passer Gary Patterson and Co. roll with come Week 1, the offense will be in the hands of a player who still maintains plenty of respect with his old team.
Such was the sentiment among several K-State players on hand at AT&T Stadium Tuesday, echoing Patterson’s comments on Monday regarding Delton’s leadership abilities and maturity on and off the field.
