Senior forward Jordan Moore continues to find her offensive rhythm by contributing a season-high 23 points in TCU’s 69-40 victory over Southern on Sunday at Schollmaier Arena.
Moore, who is averaging 17.2 points per game, was cooking early with 12 of the Frogs’ 14 first quarter points.
TCU improved to 8-1 for the third time in program history. The Frogs had previously started the season with an 8-1 record in only the 1997-98 (8-1) and 2003-04 (10-1) campaigns.
“We are grateful. Grateful for the time that we had to prepare for this team and grateful for the leadership that we have helping us through finals week in the classroom and on the floor,” Frogs head coach Raegan Pebley said in a press release.
