Well, that game was less than ideal. TCU, the No. 1 seed in the Big 12 Tournament, dropped their opener to the No. 8 seed Baylor Bears 6-5.
The Frogs got off to a rough start when Alex Young gave up a 2-run home run in the first inning, immediately putting TCU behind 2-0. TCU pulled even in the bottom of the second inning, thanks to a two-run single courtesy of Cody Jones. Jones finished the day with three hits and three RBI.
The Frogs took the lead in the bottom of the fourth, thanks to another Cody Jones RBI, followed by a Connor Wanhanen RBI on a ground out.
