The Big 12 Conference and its television partners have announced that TCU’s season-opening home football game versus SMU has been moved to Friday, Sept. 11, at 8 p.m. and will be televised on FS1.
The contest will mark the 100th meeting in TCU’s series with SMU. The Horned Frogs hold a 51-41-7 lead and have won 11 of the last 13 games and 17 of the past 20 against the Mustangs.
Coming off of last year’s 41-38 defeat in Fort Worth, TCU will face SMU in its season opener for the first time since 1979.
