Former TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin was arrested on Friday for aggravated assault on a family member with a weapon and tampering with a witness, according to Tarrant County Jail records.
His bond amount is set at $60,000.
In Sept. 2018, Boykin was indicted on a felony charge after his girlfriend said he broke her jaw earlier this year and police reported video evidence of an assault. He was released by the Seattle Seahawks as the story continued to unfold.
In 2017, Boykin was arrested for violating his probation, which he was on for hitting a police officer during a San Antonio bar fight in 2015 when TCU was playing Oregon in the Valero Alamo Bowl.
