Football games in Fort Worth are big business, with over 45,000 folks making the trek from across the state (and beyond) to cheer on the Horned Frogs. With a plethora of concession stands in addition to the upper-tier food options available - not to mention a pretty intense tailgating scene that leaves few hungry - you can imagine that there is a lot of leftover food after game day. But, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, all those goodies aren’t going to waste.
Ryan Osborne wrote a great article detailing the process TCU, with help from their caterer Sodexo, packages up all the leftovers on Mondays and shuttles them over to the Union Gospel Mission.
