Well, that was fast.
Just yesterday, it was announced the TCU linebacker Ben Wilson was entering the transfer portal, opening up an additional scholarship spot in the class of 2021. The Horned Frogs wasted no time in finding a player to fill it, and another linebacker to boot, offering 3* prospect Jayvion Gipson almost immediately.
Gipson, who had been committed to Washington State since July, had a change of heart, decommitting that afternoon and flipping to the Frogs 18 hours later.
It’s been a whirlwind, to say the least.
Gipson is going to be a great fit in Gary Patterson’s defense, and this move makes a ton of sense for both parties.
