Senior safety Derrick Kindred must feel a little like the last man standing. As the lone remaining starter on the TCU defense from last year's 12-1, Peach Bowl champion team, he has been counted on to not only perform at a high level week in and week out, but to provide leadership and intangibles for the young TCU defense. He has more than delivered so far this season, having accumulated 32 tackles, including 21 solo, three TFLs, two forced fumbles, and a pass break up through five games.
