TCU Women’s Basketball got it done with defense Sunday afternoon, dominating that end of the floor in the decisive fourth quarter on their way to a 69-55 victory over the Bearcats at Schollmaier Arena. The Horned Frogs took a seven point lead into the break, only to watch it evaporate quickly out of the locker room. Cincinnati opened the third quarter on a 6-0 run, taking their first lead since the game’s opening bucket on a pair of free throws with 7:01 to play in the frame.
The Bearcats stretched their lead out to as many as four points as star TCU center Jordan Moore went to the bench with three fouls, but the Frogs were able to fight back and get back in front as the quarter wound down.
