A fifth player from TCU Football has entered the transfer portal, as it was confirmed that freshman defensive end Adam Plant, Jr intends to leave the program.
Plant, who played his high school ball at Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas, is expected to sign with his hometown team, UNLV. There, he will have three years of eligibility remaining.
Playing in all 12 games as a true freshman this year, Plant recording three tackles as part of a rotation that included Ochaun Mathis, Parker Workman, Colt Ellison, and others. The Frogs struggled to generate a consistent pass rush in 2019, but the 6’6”, 245 pound edge rusher was expected to have a bright future as a big time contributor going forward.
